People who chew their food slowly does not fatten

According to a new Chinese study, people who chew their food slowly slowly take on fewer calories, mainly because chewing is associated with levels of hormones that regulate appetite
Chewing 40 times instead of 15, which is usually the case, he volunteers in the study to recruit nearly 12% fewer calories, said the study, published in American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
In the research which took place at the  Medical University School of Harbin in China gave a typical breakfast in 14 obese young men and 16 young men with normal weight to see if there are differences in how they chew.
The scientists also examined whether more chewing of food makes the volunteers to eat less and whether it affects levels of sugar in the blood or certain hormones that regulate appetite.
Many previous studies have found that eating quickly and chew less associated with obesity, but others have not found something similar.
