Serotonin levels are influenced from diet containing tryptophan

You are easily stressed and irritable, nervous and irritable?
Eat foods rich in tryptophan!

Tryptophan is an amino acid that our body takes in food, it plays an important role, as it is the precursor of serotonin, a neurotransmitter involved in mood regulation, which not coincidentally is also known as the "hormone of Moods. "
Foods particularly rich in tryptophan include chocolate, cheese, milk, eggs, cod, tuna, anchovies, caviar, pork, veal, chicken, turkey,unsweetened cocoa, dates, oats, peanuts, bananas, walnuts, pineapple and avocado.
If this amino acid is lacking in our diet (we assume 350 mg daily) in the risk of having a lower level of serotonin and thus be more irritable.
To prove it is a search coordinated by the University of and published in the journal Biological Psychiatry.
To conduct their research, scholars have subjected a group of people with a diet low in tryptophan, then showed them pictures depicting people with various emotional states by monitoring there actions of their brains using magnetic resonance imaging.
Then they repeated the experiment after giving the volunteers a meal rich in foods containing tryptophan.
Research has shown that when our bodies there is a shortage of tryptophan areas of our brain, the seat of self-control and reason,communicate with the area of emotions and so if there is a shortage of serotonin decreases the ability to an individual to control his anger.
